People (men or women)should not be allowed to go out in public places hiding themselves behind masks. It is frightening for everybody else.

I totally agree, but only on banning the niqab, or face veil (not head scarf).. The niqab is totally not worn for religious reasons, apparently says no where in the koran, but for cultural reasons, and although I am becoming extremely frustrated at how our British culture (which is fundamentally a Christian culture) is being marginalised by other cultures.

Without a doubt! there is absolutely no need to wear a burka. why hide your identity by wearing one? you may aswell take a photo of the letterbox on your front door and put the picture in your passport. Police will stop a person randomly if they are wearing a hoodie so why should they just allow people to walk by wearing a burka? the people who wear them look like a cross between a ninja and the grim reaper.

In true Britain, only someone with something to hide – be it deformity, scars, fear or shame – would wear a mask or veil! If France can make it law, why can’t we?
This is our country and respectable citizens abide by the law. So should other ethnic communities who adopt this country as their own. If not, go back to their own and feel more at home!!
