PLEAAAASE bring the originals back- not just the original flavours, but the quality! The chocolate and the fillings aren’t the same. Dear petition owner, can you try and advertise this petition more ? Put it on FB? Need more signatures!

  2. Geraldine Hanson

Have recently been gifted a box of Black Magic, though they were pleasant it did not bring back the delight I remember from years ago so many of my favourites were missing please can someone put this right.

  3. David Gleadhill AUSTRALIA

This terrible travesty does not deserve the name “Black Magic”.

  4. Nigel Race UNITED KINGDOM

Black Magic chocolates were part of our National Identity. I don’t know how the Manufacturer is able to have the audacity to call them Black Magic now. Nestles acquire Rowntrees on the cheap and try to find ways of ‘cutting costs’. Same goes for Kraft with Terrys All Gold IMO and possibly even some Cadbury products! Thought that I would just air my feelings but do not believe anything will become of this petition. I do not appreciate the dumbing down of our traditional food products especially chocolate.

  5. Sharon Roberts UNITED KINGDOM

I haven’t bought a box of Black Magic Chocolates for many years. I don’t see how Nestle are allowed to get away with calling the revolting selection they now offer and still call it Black Magic when it so clearly isn’t ! Bring back our much loved fillings. Montelimar, butterscotch and Hazlenut Cluster to name but a few.

  6. William Billett UNITED KINGDOM

I remember eating black magic as a child and my mother and grandmother never stop talking about the original box today. Even though we buy the occasional box nestle black magic, the whole family keenly express their disappointment and 90% is thrown away. I know that it would be expensive to sell the original box (exactly as was) but they weren’t cheap in the first place and my family would certainly be prepared to pay for it. So please, bring back the secret of the black magic box!

  7. Clair Lannon UNITED KINGDOM

Original Black Magic was a huge favourite of our family. Butterscotch, cherry cup, hazelnut cluster, Brazil nut …..not a bad one amongst them. Gran, mam and myself adored this wonderful selection. I can still remember the gorgeous smell when you opened the box. Just opened a box of the latest Black Magic, selection very very poor, same as every other brand on the market. Please please bring back the originals!

  8. Lynne Cutts UNITED KINGDOM

Please bring back black magic chocolates of old these new ones are sickly not much variety so come on do what the people want and bring em back bring en back bring em back

  9. Ruth maher

Please bring back the original chocs including toffee and mallow and butterscotch and all the nutty ones. It was the perfect box and I always had a box bought fir me at birthdays and xmas but I dont want them any more due tobthe boring new chocs. Bring back whatveveryone wants and be different to all the other chocolates on the market.

They got rid of the best ones; hazelnut cluster and butterscotch. They aren’t as good now.

  11. Clare Scully UNITED KINGDOM

Montelimar, marzipan, butterscotch, hazelnut cluster….all the best ones gone!

  12. Bridget Gunston UNITED KINGDOM

Why on earth did they change Black Magic at all? The best flavours are all gone! Montelimar, the hard toffee one, butterscotch etc. They usd to be the best chocolates and I couldnr wait to eat them. My mum and I used to fight over the last montelimar and butterscotch ones. The flavours now are disgusting and so boring – all too similar and bland. Why include slabs of plain chocolate? If I want a slab I can buy one from the supermarket. I suspect it has to do with money. Who decides on flavours anyway? Why not put it to a
Customer vote? You may actually start selling some!

  13. Roz Cashen

The variety has gone, new flavours taste similar to each other and the luxurious special treat feeling has been lost. And please get rid of that piece of plain chocolate. If I wanted plain chocolate I would’ve bought it, it just seems lazy.

Please bring back some hard centres for those who don’t like too many soft ones

  15. Bec Parker

My Dads favourites were always a box of black magic, for Father’s Day, his birthday and Christmas….he would save me one of the toffee mallows…. the new chocolates have lost their magic, its such a shame. I would imagine in such a competitive industry having already having such an iconic selection of chocolates would have made sense not to meddle…. please think about bringing back the old recipes, forget the bog standard quality streets, celebrations, on offer in every supermarket…. we would buy black magic every time, if it tasted as it should…

  16. Lesley Stappes UNITED STATES

This was my favourite box of chocolates – the ONLY chocolates my mother and I would eat. My particular favourite was toffee and mallow, and I miss that so much! I see that many people now miss the old selection, so I will not waste my money on ordering a box of this ‘new generation Black Magic’! Sounds like the selection AND the quality have gone downhill! PLEASE bring back the originals!!! Many thanks!

  17. Karen Platt UNITED STATES

Black Magic chocolates are traditional chocolates. I used to go bob-a-jobbing to get the money together to buy them for my Mum. They were her favourites. But…the quality has gone down hill. They have changed but not for the better. Please return them to their original quality.

  18. Sharon cottam

Why change a wonderful thing? Somebody scared of harder centres by the way?

Toffee & mallow why stop making them?
Please bring back the original flavours

  20. Joan Mcdonald UNITED KINGDOM

No hazelnut cluster Brazil’s nought marzipan just a few of the many missing chocolates
