Poole Harbour Commissioners propose to build a 800 berth marina 200 metres off Hamworthy Park in Poole Dorset. This proposal if built would destroy this fabulous location for Windsurfing,Kiting and probably impact on most other water based sports in the area as well. For other users of Hamworthy Park the existing views over to Brownsea would be replaced by yet another water based car park for the well heeled. Add your voice to the "No" vote
It will no doubt be a nice development for the few who are rich enough to take advantage but will end the hobbies of hundreds of people who have been using this area for years, and enjoying the freedoms offered by this beautiful seascape.
This will be a devistating blow for local businesses as well as water users. This is a unique and beautiful place to enjoy water sports for thousands of people, which could be lost forever.
