Dear Mrs Lutzier,
This is a formal petition to protest the expulsion of Amber Jade McCrudden from All Hallows Sixth Form College.
Amber is a dedicated and hard-working student, and we, the undersigned, believe that your reasons for withdrawing her offer of a place are unreasonable and unfair. Every child deserves the right to a further education, and by withdrawing your offer, you are effectively removing this right from an innocent young girl, over what could be believed as a personal vendetta against her and her family.
For an educational institution that prides yourself on the quality of your college, it is appalling that you would remove a student’s right to education over such insignificant reasons. Your reasoning given – her attitude towards her French examination – is inadequate, unfair, and frankly we find it sickening that you are able to treat her in such a way.
We propose that you allow Amber to enrol in All Hallows Sixth Form College as of September 2008, and give her the equal, fair opportunities that every student at your school – and across the country – deserves.
