Hello, this is my first petition posted on Petition.co.uk, and to start I'll introduce myself. I am a representative selected by Sony to discover if Digimon World 3 would be a feasible option to upload onto the PSN, and although I have posted on various Gaming boards, I decided to post this here too. Action Petitioned for:- The Duchy of Cornwall reinstating vehicular access to the Okehampton Camp Ring (Loop) Road from OP22 on the East side and South of the barrier at 597 921 on the West.

Background:- In the 1940’s the existing granite track forming the Okehampton Camp loop (ring) road was tarmaced, this was maintained by the army up to the 1990s when it was allowed to go into “benign neglect”. Until 2009 the public had both pedestrian and vehicular access to the whole of the ring road outside live firing sessions; after a flawed consultation the owners (the Duchy of Cornwall); with the tacit support of the Dartmoor National Park Committee; closed the ring road from OP22 on the East side and South of the barrier at 597 921 on the West to vehicular access. This has caused considerable distress to those with disabilities or with limited mobility and generally contravenes the spirit of the Disability Discrimination Act 2005.

Leeds Uni…Stand Up and Take Action for the MDG's!

When world leaders gather at the United Nations for the Millennium Development Goals Review Summit in September, the voices of their citizens will follow them, telling them, loudly and clearly: “We will no longer stay seated or silent in the face of poverty and the broken promises to end it!’

The demands and expectations of citizens across continents and countries, made visible and audible throughout 2010, will culminate in the “Stand Up 2010” mobilization which will take place over three days beginning Friday September 17th, through Sunday the 19th.

Students from Leeds University we want to hear your voice to tell the Governments that we expect more from them. We demand Breakthrough Action plans and expect Heads of State of every country, rich and poor, to come to the MDG Review Summit with clear MDG Breakthrough Action Plans.

Much progress has been made in the last decade even in the poorest countries and most MDGs are still achievable in most countries, as long as policies and implementation mechanisms that are accountable to the poor are in place. In countries where governments have done the right thing, success has followed. If this expands and continues, there is no reason why these successes cannot be repeated over the next five years.

The next five years are the final leg on that journey, what is needed is not a new set of plans, but implementation of clear plans to reach the originally-agreed destination by 2015, building on the learnings of the first decade.
