2015-05-13 11:02:14 Labour increased their share of the vote by 1.4% and lost 50 seats. The Lib Dems received over 2 million votes as the DUP but both won 8 seats. The Green party and UKIP received over 5 million votes but won 2 seats between them. These statistics demonstrate how FPTP disregards the political makeup of the UK and elects a Tory majority who will impose laws that on the 64%of people who did not vote for them.
