I don't see how this change will impact student scores, I think there should be more alternatives explored. The perceive benefits do not outweigh the costs in busing and resulting open enrollment.

I feel cheated. I attended the last meeting in December, and feel like I didn't get all the information. It was very one-sided. I heard a lot of what was good about this plan, and that we need a change - but not much else. Now after listening to my kids' teachers and looking more into the facts of what this will look like, I do not think it has our kids' best interest in mind. Not in THIS community. This community will only thrive with relationship - not just with their peers, but with all grades - especially the littles w/ the older students. Please don't take that away from our kids - and please listen to our teachers who are not for this! This is not a fix & won't save $. It will drive good families away & make for unhappy staff.
