The vast majority of greyhound racing owners and trainers care about their dogs. Rule 18 of the GBGB still allows owners to euthanase healthy greyhounds and this petition asks the GBGB to reconsider this rule and remove the part that allows healthy greyhounds to be put down once their career is over.
This should not be allowed to happen, animals should not be allowed to make people money then put down, there are plenty of Retired Greyhound Sanctuarys out there that they should be able to go to after their racing career has ended!!
