Save Bradley Manning from torture

Human Rights

What justifies this??

Pte. Bradley Manning stands accused of leaking classified US military documents to wikileaks.
This may or may not be true. If true, then he has released documents that were not classified to protect national security but to conceal criminal military acts of the murder of innocent civilians.

To date, no action has been taken against the personnel involved in the massacre of unarmed civilians in Iraq. Yet Pte. Manning has been subjected to imprisonment and the most brutal and inhumane treatment, as the shocking photographs reveal. It is hard to imagine that they are both photographs of the same man. It is harder still to imagine the kind of treatment that has brought about such a change in just a few short months!

Obama is happy to preach to other nations about human rights but this is an example of what happens to anyone who dare expose the human rights abuses of the US military! Obama holds the highest office in the US administration and, as such, he is directly responsible for the abuses inflicted on Pte. Manning. Without Obama's authorisation, this abuse could not occur. He cannot distance himself from this.

We call upon Obama to end this torture and abuse NOW. This has not been inflicted to extract vital intelligence. Pte. Mannings guilt or innocence should be established through the proper and civilised process of Court Martial.

What Manning has been subjected to is nothing other than revenge for exposing US military atrocities in Iraq. And now Manning, himself, is the victim of US military atrocities.

Please find the humanity to sign the petition now and end this inhuman punishment.

Manning's plight is appalling, the USA's 'justice' system is barbaric and as corrupt as many of those Eastern nations whom they so readily criticise.
