This is outrageous, as a student we pay good money to have the support and help thats need to run the university. How can we be recieving good quality when there are job cuts among the staff?

This is a truly outrageous desition to make. Unfortunately by the time the University realises what a big mistake it has made to lose this position on each site it will be to late and they will have lost one of the biggest assets in the Universities staff portfolio.
Kens experience and expertise has been felt through Maidstone and the legacy of his work has been utilised in all sites at the University. Ken has nurtured a team of technicians that have benifited from his wealth of experience, myself included. He has shown a dedication to the University which often has led to inspiring new systems and progressive ways of work, this also includes trusting team members to work autominously on projects for the benifit of the University.

Ken is a crucial member of staff, essential to the running of the college and someone who truly believes in the future of Maidstone. We cannot afford to lose him!

currently, it seems you only have to be interviewed if you're not going to get the job?!
