The railway was Crewes heritage, it all started here, so much has been eroded by thoughtless, blind,incompetent decision makers who seem hell bent on destroying any attempt to upgrade a badly neglected industry. Crewe has always had a reputation in regard to the station, surely it deserves now to have the share of funding promised to raise it's image and attract new businesses and at the same time creating jobs for a town badly hit by the closure of the railways.
