Yesterday Reena and I met with the London Sikh Centre (after organising Reena's wedding at their gurdwara) who have asked us to create a facebook event with the attempt to get together as many members of the young sikh community.
Some of you may already be aware that 17 of our sikh brothers are captured and are being t…ortured in a Dubai prison for a crime they did not commit.
In under a fortnight they are going to be sentenced in court and as it stands they are likely to be 'hung till death'!
We need as many members as possible to join us this Sunday to protest on Downing Street, and help save their lives.
As young sikhs we have never been asked to support our people back in India so please please try your best to make it there even if its only for one hour or so.

There is also an advert on the sikh channel (sky 840) pleading for our support for the demonstation on Sunday.
