It is short sighted and no doubt motivated by greed to destroy the enviroment and the natrual habitat of numerous wild creatures. Once these woods are gone and the wild animals living in them they are gone for good.

Visited the area many times and know the woods well. They are a large part of what makes the area attractive, both for local people and visitors.

As residents of the local area for nearly 20 years we would like to say how supportive we are of your campaign to Save the Thorpe Woodlands. We read with horror the plans to destroy this beautiful landscape and thank you and the group for standing up against this abomination which would devastate our local wildlife. Year after year we have enjoyed walks in this local area whilst our children have been growing up and still continue to take a regular stroll long after they have flown the nest! We have registered with your petition to pledge our commitment and belief in your group and hope with local support like this we will continue to stop future plans of this nature ever being allowed to go to fruition.
