Waste Recycling Group (WRG) wants to continue using Arpley landfill, off Old Liverpool Road Warrington, for a further 12 years after its permission to use the landfill finishes in 2013.
If approved by the council, new plans put forward by the site owners WRG will mean waste being brought from outside Warrington to be tipped between 380 and 580 metres away from nearby residents doorsteps until 2025.
This coupled with the ongoing nuisance of dangerous speeding lorries, dirt, dust, litter and traffic inflicted on the local area for the past 20 years means enough is enough.
WRG mustn’t be allowed to continue operations at Arpley after 2013.
