After various government initatives that have not happened we find our town yet again not being given funding – this opportunity must not be lost as the town has a higher need for pupil support than a lot of people might realise in the town – ie special needs and low achievers.

It is essential to education in Felixstowe that this project goes ahead. The current buildings are simply in a very poor state. It makes sense to bring the 2 schools together in a single purpose built building. A childs environment plays a big role in how they learn.

The Felixstowe High Schools required a much needed boost and the development that was planned for a new Felixstowe Academy is essential and key to the facilities and education on offer to the pupils in the Felixstowe area. Are children need and deserve this !
