One site would be an improvement from children having to walk between schools in all weather and neither school is fit for modern teaching

A new school is immeasurably important to the continuing prosperity of a town which is in fact receiving goods from around the world for the whole nation. The education of our children is paramount to keeping local services running in the future, both at the port and supporting the work force there. It is very hard to understand why the government cannot recognise this. Have they overlooked the fact that we are talking about a school at Britain's premier port?

Resources currently are limited, without an investment into a new school, lack of resources and a strong working environment will mean that grades and education in Felixstowe will slip, creating unemployment in the town.

Its vital for the town that instead of two poor school buildings we have a purpose built 21st century builing. This would also deliver prime builing land for one of the sites which would allow felixstowe to provide good homes for the future

As a parent of a pupil at Deben I can see real potential for an outstanding educational environment in Felixstowe given what is currently being achieved at Deben. So much more success given 21st century facilities.Yes, I understand cutbacks are required but it would be a travesty to let down our children and lose the potential that is evident within the staff and pupils at the school.
