As a new resident of the area with a young family, this is something I feel very strongly about.
We live in central Weybridge, it’s ridiculous our 4 year old hasn’t got into St James school 554 meters away and that we are 17th on the waiting list. For a junior education our second closest school is Cleves and we have no hope of a place unless the submission criteria is changed. We firmly believe that Cleves should have a five category submission criteria (below) like the other schools in the area or a catchment area taking in Weybridge
1.Looked after children. 2.Exceptional arrangements. 3.Siblings.
4.Children for whom the school is the nearest to their home.
5.Others.
