Be safe in public places, put your dog on a lead, I hope for this to become a law, that all dogs must be on a lead in public places i hope to collect several thousands of signatures to present to number 10 downing st, london, and i will be propossing that, if passed , be named STANS law

I really hope this law is past as soon as possible. I have a small dog who is always on a lead when in public. He has nearly been attacked between 2-4 times a week all by dogs who are OFF THEIR LEAD!!! It is petrifying!!!! I pick him up while the dogs are in the distance but they still run up to us growling barking and snapping their teeth while jumping up at me to reach my dog!!! Being able to walk your dog in peace with a piece of mind just isn't an option as I am constantly having to look over my shoulder as dogs just aapear out of nowhere. Although I have reported such incidents to my local dog warden and have given address, this issue is not taken seriously and definately not by dog owners who have told me "it's your dogs problem" as to why their dog is ATTACKING MINE!!! I am scared of my mum taking the dog out due to this I dread to think what would happen. This law needs to be PASSED NOW as it is already tooo late for children, adult's, elderly and dogs being attacked or have even died. THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PASS THIS PASS THIS LAW

I so agree with this petition all dogs big or small should always be on a lead,for their safety and ours
I agree. Every dog owner should be aware that not everybody is confident around dogs.
It is their responsibility to make sure that their dog is under control at all times.
