I would like to issue to a formal petition aimed at Scanavo to discontinue their line of StickerBook SteelBooks on the grounds that they are inferior quality, unattractive, and unwanted by a vast majority of SteelBook collectors and consumers, both in the UK and also worldwide!

StickerBooks are Scanavo’s new product line of SteelBooks which instead of having artwork printed directly on the tin, they have a vinyl sticker overlay both back and front. Often, these sticker overlays are not applied straight, resulting an unaesthetical product.

Many SteelBook collectors and consumers are very disappointed at the recent StickerBook releases here in the UK , and would prefer if Scanavo discontinued this product for future releases.

Both The Extraordinary Adventues Of Adele Blanc-Sec (Blu-Ray) and Source Code (Dvd and Blu-Ray) – Both UK releases – have been poorly received by various SteelBook collecting communities, with many citing reasons such as "inferior quality to previous SteelBook releases", "unattractive", and "cheap-looking". Likewise, many video game collectors were extremely disappointed with the SteelBook release of SEGA’s Vanquish earlier in the year, due to the fact that it was the new StickerBook design rather than a conventional SteelBook

Most SteelBook fans and collectors would prefer if Scanavo could discontinue producing StickerBooks, and return to producing high quality SteelBook products as before

It would also be greatly appreciated if Scanavo could forward these concerns to their potential customers in the near future, as opting for a SickerBook product over a traditional SteelBook may have an impact on sales of their Dvd, Blu-Ray, or video game products
