Petition To Camden Council Improve The Local Plan For Gypsies, Travellers And Travelling Showpeople

We are neighbours, colleagues, allies and friends of gypsy and traveller residents of camden. We request that camden council make changes to the new draft local plan so that it prepares to deliver sufficient, decent and affordable culturally suitable accommodation to all camden residents without discrimination. Before the local plan examination ends, camden council should:
•properly count the needs of all gypsies and travellers
•listen to community members when considering locations for new sites
•protect and improve the existing traveller and showpeople’s sites [1]1
we want our gypsy, traveller, showmen and boater neighbours to feel included in our borough.
