I have been talking to pete the crossing patrol man and unfortunately he is set to lose his job under the new council cuts. He is being made redundant in april unless the local community council can take over his role – as all crossing patrols are being scrapped unless the community councils can take them on. There is to be a meeting at acton community centre on 19th november where the community council will decide his fate and he is looking for support from the parents, whether that be on the night or through a petition. Please pass the message around or add other parents to this thread, thanks,
