Animals are being unfairly treated every minute of every day, either through neglect, abuse or product testing. This violent, horrific behaviour would be inconceivable and shocking if carried out on humans, so why is it that it is acceptable for animals to be treated like this? If a small child is being beaten by his/her parents it is unacceptable, but if an animal is being abused it is a different matter. People are quite happy to ignore it and pretend it is not going on. Humans have no right to treat other living creatures like this. The only way to change our behaviour is to change the worlds attitude. Animals feel pain just like we do; they need the same level of care as we do, and the same amount of respect and love that we give each other.
