Yet despite all the odds, he has transformed chelsea, from a disheartened 2nd rate team into a massive footballing force, which took down the ‘greatest team in the world’, with 10 men. This petition is about more than just di matteo. It’s a plea to our owner to stop this obsession with big named managers, to stop this revolving door policy which has turned our club into a laughing stock. Di matteo deserves a chance to take chelsea further than they have ever been before. Not only has he achieved real success in terms of finals and wins, he was united this country behind chelsea, breaking down the long term barriers of hate against our club. To have liverpool, united and tottenham fans, willing chelsea on in the champions league, would have been unheard of in recent years. So come on roman, let us keep our manager, the fans manager, the players manager, the manager of the new greatest team in the world
