It is essential to keep the ticket office at this station and not to reduce its opening hours. Both me and my 67 years old mother have experienced attempted attacks and were saved by the ticket office staff being there. Another improvement badly overdue is to put this station on the Oyster network. The trains going through Loughborough Station during peak hours are grossly overcrowded. The only good point about the station is having the staff in the ticket office. Otherwise it will become too dangerous to use for any female person. Why do poor areas always get the worst deal?

Still wishing for services to extend, horrified at the implications to our safety.
Please do not cut staff hours whilst we are trying to leave the cars at home and use public transport too many things are working against the feasibility.

It is important to have staffing at Loughborough Junction station in afternoons and evenings, as potentially high crime area.

As a nearby resident from Northlands Street I am concerned that removing staff will make the station less safe, and more liable to graffiti and other vandalism. Staff in the ticket offices reassure travellers and act as a deterrent to muggings which will go up if the station is unmanned.
