We want our club to stay professional, back our club and Town, a football club can be very important to an area, I am sure many of our councillors went to Wembley and Cardiff over the years!

The behaviour of our local council throughout this long sorry process has been, at best apathetic. We need a proactive, constructive approach to ensure the future of our club.

John Fenty has done a fantastic job in keeping GTFC afloat while many other clubs have fallen in administration and/or closure. Despite this, NELC persistently undermine his efforts to improve the football club. Do NELC not realise that GTFC is North East Lincolnshire's flagship sporting organisation and as such brings in prestige and valuable funds to our small county. GTFC are the forerunners in sporting and educational initiatives in the county and without these our children would have nothing to do at all in the school holidays. NELC please support this club, the majority of you say you are fans of GTFC so why not prove it?
