Traffic calming measures are desperately needed in Datchet on Eton End Rd.
This road feeds the local primary school and is hazardous to pedestrians and especially young school children particularly when the school opens/closes due to motorists travelling too fast.
There has recently been a school crossing placed at the beginning of the year but we as the community feel this is dangerously near to a bend and does not give enough warning to drivers.
The crossing lady always feels very insecure when performing her duties. We as a community wish for speed bumps/crossings (Similar to Eton College) or any other calming measures that prove slowing traffic down.
