We all love watching our favourite club on TV but for too long football fans are not being catered for when it comes to fixtures changes. TV rights changing fixture dates and kick off times causes problems for the fans, this petition is aimed mainly to prevent TV companies (sky, ESPN) from re-arranging kickoff times that hinder fans travelling to and from the match, i propose that if supporters have to travel more than 3 or 4 hours to an away game then a rule should state that Sky or ESPN cannot have the kickoff time earlier than 3pm to allow fans a significant chance to travel to and from the game at reasonble times. 2 examples from opening weekend this season(2010/11). 1 – Spurs v Man City @ 12:30 for city fans to get to london they will have to leave roughly 6 or 7am, 2 – Man Utd v Newcastle @ 8pm Newcastle fans will have a at least a 3 hour journey after the match so they will be looking at getting back about 1am with some im sure in work the next morning. So no more will the needs of us the fans all over the country be overlooked.
