The Grand Slam of Darts is a competition between the two big darts organisations – the BDO and the PDC. It started in 2007 and has gone from strength to strength. It was shown on ITV4, and for last year’s final, got them an audience of just under a million.
Sky Sports have got it for the next three years, and it was the one tournament a year that was on digital-terrestrial that I could watch in its entirety. I feel that darts fans who haven’t got Sky should sign this petition to get it back on ITV4 from 2014.
