Sydenham avenue is used as a by-pass to avoid town. People drive too fast and can be abusive to residents trying to get in and out of their own driveways. It’s like playing russian roulette! Aggressive horn blaring, hand gestures and driving up on pavements is common. At school times the street is absolute bedlam as lots of parents park in this street to take or collect their children from school. At these times the road can be totally gridlocked as vehicles cannot pass each other. If the street were made one way (traffic flowing from faenol avenue to maes canol), like clwyd and pentre avenues already are, it would ease these problems. It’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed. I don’t think this is an unreasonable request. Please sign my petition and lend your support.
