Bedford Borough Council have threatened to close Foxgloves Respite Care Home.
Foxgloves provides respite care for 36 children and their familis, these children have severe learning difficulties, Autism & Behavioural Difficulties, this provision is the only place in the borough where these children can go, for a few nights a month, to give the families a break from the demands of caring an looking after some of the most demanding children in the Borough, it provides an essnetial service and enables families to stay together for as long as possible, it also provides high quality support and care for the children, who thrive within this safe and secure environment.
