These woods are species rich and provide invaluable havens/habitats for many populations and animal/plant communities. They also provide much enjoyment and are a sheer delight to walkers like myself.

These woodlands are extremely important wildlife habitats, as well as being importnat in their own right because they are woodlands. The concept of allowing them to be destroyed for housing development is quite outrageous, and I trust that BDC will turn down any application to do so.

I grew up in Thorpe St Andrew, my parents still live locally and the thought of 600 homes being built at the woodlands expense just to make a few people richer is not a nice one. Please make sure that planning permission is not given and keep Thorpe a nice lush green suburb that it has been for generations.

This is an area of considerable bio-diversity with a wide range of broadleaf trees and their associated wildlife. The whole of the trust's argument is flawed: these woods have been in existance on the OS maps for well over 120 years. The puplic have had over 20 years un-hindered access.

Broadland Distict council has a duty to wildlife under NERC Act 2006. It must surely insist on an EIA and full wildlife surveys before even thinking about planning permission for this site.
