  1. Rick Ball UNITED KINGDOM

HMS Plymouth would be a welcome tourist attraction, too much of our heritage is scrapped and this is seen almost ‘acceptable’. It is not!

  2. Jason Palmer UNITED KINGDOM

A great attraction either in front of the Hoe or around the barbican

  3. a fajardo UNITED KINGDOM

its a great tourist atraction so therefore it shouldnt be cut up for scrap

  4. ana loureiro UNITED KINGDOM

ITS A SHAME IF SUCH TOURIST ATRACTION GETS DESTROYED

  5. Ana Fajardo UNITED KINGDOM

its a real shame if a beautiful atraction gets destroyed as it reminds people of great times we will be loosing a magnificant ship

  6. Ian Steel UNITED KINGDOM

This would make a good memorial and something that the younger generations need to see.

  7. John Aldous UNITED KINGDOM

    none

  8. Wendy Elizabeth Day (Miss) UNITED KINGDOM

Boat should not be cut up and used for scrap, should be left for people to enjoy – perhaps as a museum piece?.

  9. Nicci Carr UNITED KINGDOM

it would be a travesty to loose this ship from Plymouth docks ;-(

  10. Janet UNITED KINGDOM

    It’s part of our heritage.

  11. Barbara E Roser

I support this petition!. ~This is part of our heritage!

  12. Mr. G N Dawson

I would ask that HMS Plymouth be considered to become a floating museum in the City of Plymouth where it could generate income over a number of years. To decommision this ship for scrap value is akin to Gordon Brown selling our gold reserves.

  13. Keith Miller UNITED KINGDOM

Save her, don’t let this chance go by. We need to keep some of our history alive.

  14. John Edwards

Can’t believe there is no where for her in Plymouth. Pontoon off Phoenix wharf opposite National Marine Aquarium?

  15. Dr Colin Dawson UNITED KINGDOM

It’s time HMS Plymouth came home, and the city started to make the most of its naval heritage in the same way that Portsmouth has.

  16. SUSAN DOWN UNITED KINGDOM

tHIS SHIP SHOULD BE RETAINED AND KEPT IN PLYMOUTH BECAUSE OF ITS HISTORY.

  17. Chris Wood UNITED KINGDOM

    Lets keep our heritage.

  18. Taff UNITED KINGDOM

A SHIP THAT BEARS THE NAME OF A NAVAL CITY SHOULD BE SAVED BY THAT SAME CITY – PCC GET YOUR THUMBS OUT OF YOUR BUMS

  19. len sarson UNITED KINGDOM

    served onboard plymouth from 1961/1962

  20. John Green UNITED KINGDOM

We need HMS Plymouth back in Plymouth where she belongs, all the history and memories she went through cannot be destroyed and turned into scrap.
Please save her, come on Plymouth Council bring her home ! ! !
