What is there left for the future generation ? they won't even know what a library is!!

  2. Moira Donabie Wembley UNITED KINGDOM

Libraries should be local for all residents.
    Do NOT close these facilities.

…this really makes no sense. If the wish is to stop people having a place to go for solace, study, entertainment and simply enrichment, then by all means continue with this. Libraries do more for people than any other goverment initiative that will ever be conceived, that's a fact! If you close them, a large chunk of society will just stop reading, starting with the younger generation.

libraries are a fundamental part of the local community. To close them would be the beginning if disentagation of the community spirit that binds us harmoniously

The Brent consultation document does not
provide the option of keeping all the libraries
open with a reduction of hours. They are
proposing cutting the number of libraries
in half and INCREASING the opening hours
of the remaining libraries-an option nobody has asked for.In nieghboring
Cambden people have been offered reduced hours as an option.

We need preston road library to remain open

More children than ever before visit libraries. They are the next generation of borrowers. We cannot remove their libraries. It doesn't make sense.

Brent Council waste loads of tax payers money on unbelievable projects and schemes and then try to save money by closing out libraries. What does this say about Brent Council?

  12. Sukinder Preston Kilburn UNITED KINGDOM

Not surprised at this as Labour wanted to close our libraries for years before the Lib Dems scrapped the plans. Ann John gets pushed around by real culprits Gareth Awayday Daniel and Phil Newly.
