As Nationwide have withdrawn our free cash withdrawals in Europe we intend closing our Flex a/c, our credit card a/c &, when our FR bonds mature, they too will be invested anywhere else but with Nationwide!

I will be moving all my accounts elsewhere by 1 November if these changes are not halted.\r\n\r\nI have already applied for 2 current accounts elsewhere so this is no idle threat.\r\n

The attempt to sneak this news out only a week after the AGM, during which it was not mentioned at all, is a cynical attempt to steamroller through an unwanted change by a board which obviously runs scared of the will of members, is contemptuous of the principles of mutuality and is clearly out to feather its own tatty nest.
