Could fines be increased and be used to financed partially the police force?\r\nex: the current level of fines for people using their mobile phones while driving or creating disturbances because they're drunk is way too low to be deterrent!

The Safer Neighbourhood police teams have been instrumental in reducing the open drug taking and drug dealing in the Camden area which has blighted the quality of life for the residents. The Metropolitan Police force does not have the resources, together with their other statutory duties, to deal with this problem unassisted. Inevitably cuts in staff of both police teams will result in more open drug taking and dealing and residents will hold the chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority responsible for allowing the problem to return.

I feel much safer in my local areas, Sidcup, Bromley, Mottingham etc with the PCSCs on the streets. They do a marvelous job and can only enhance the service provided by the Police.

It is important that money be available to ensure the safety of the community by financing the SNP teams

I am shocked that police cuts are being considered. Why not bloody cut back elsewhere. Shocking that it is to be considered.
