DO NOT DECREASE THE AMOUNT OF POLICE OFFICERS… WE ALREADY HAVE TOO MANY STABBINGS

Less police – more crime. A short Term saving possibly but in the long run and far far more costly option not only in monetary terms but in lives.

I think that this is a disgraceful cut in services. Stopping people who are willing and able to enforce our dangerous streets is outrageous. Many of these people have been in holding down full time jobs just so they can support themselves through police training and they have had the door that was promised to be open for them, slammed back in their faces.

don't make cuts in London, only to discover when It is too late, that police are finding it too difficult to keep us safe with so little staff.

  18. Dave Rolph London UNITED KINGDOM

We've just had the lowest crime figures in a generation. These cuts will risk our safety and damage our perception of safety.

  19. Carole Williams London UNITED KINGDOM

Cutting the Safer neighbourhood teams would have a determintal impact on the levels of trust that police have built up in local communities. It would also remove from those communities the ability to set local policing priorities based on local needs.
