    Arts centre!!

I hope this petition will make a difference. The Arts Centre has been very well used by the people of Airdrie and surrounding areas for well over 100 years and has a fantastic history. I do hope that the Airdrie Arts Centre can still be saved for future generations to enjoy.

  6. Marion R Baird UNITED KINGDOM

As a regular user of the Arts Centre I, along with many people from Airdrie and surrounding district, will miss it a great deal.

  7. Michael Graham UNITED KINGDOM

A piece of nonsense to close this local institution.

  9. Helen Bryson CANADA

Although I now live in Canada I visit my family in Airdrie every two years and always have lunch at the Art Centre with Askeys office workmates. It’s such a lovely building with history and should be preserved. I will be very disappoint to see what? in it’s place.

  10. Sandra Morrison UNITED KINGDOM

I have been away from Airdrie for many years now, but still have family in the town. The Art Centre is already greatly missed by all of it`s regular users, who cannot find anywhere satisfactory to replace it and the friendly atmosphere they always found there.

Airdrie was richer for having an Art Centre. It would be a great pity if it was lost , along with so many other things that are lost in the name of progress.

lets keep historic Airdrie and stop tearing down buidlings . Once it’s gone it gone forever. too much has gone in the past. After all this building is one of the first libraries
and should be designated as such and not demolished.
