It is ridiculous that NHS will found a boob job but not the surgery to help little girl walk!

  4. Alison Gordon

How callous and heartless of the trust to not continue to offer the surgery to those already referred. Absolutely disgusting.

  5. Shariann Kelly UNITED STATES

I hope your little girl gets this surgery

  6. Suzanne Turley

When I think of the money that is wasted on a daily basis by the NHS and their staff. With better observance in Staff training and care of equipment, the NHS could offer this and other operations over and over again.

  7. Patrick O'Donnell UNITED KINGDOM

The decision not to go ahead with the surgery is so wrong and unfair

We have a son who has cerebral palsy spastic diplegia. We have to fundraise for the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy operation. With the care (physio at home) he already needs as physio has also been reduced as a result of NHS cutbacks, it is a struggle and full time job with the organising of fundraising events to raise the target amount. However, we have a lot of very generous people in this country who have been wonderful in donating, sponsoring and fundraising. We find the non funding of this life changing operation by the NHS very unfair. We will be on ITV in the “Tonight” programme on the 1st May at 7.30pm featuring our story and making people aware of a child with cerebral palsy.
Good Luck to you. Hope the NHS does fund the operation and for all those other children that desperately need it too.
